FAQ

Q?

How to use MyQr-Menu to create a menu?

A.

Creating a menu on our platform is very easy & intuitive. Simply follow these steps:

  1. Click on "Create Menu" and sign up or log into your existing account
  2. Once you've logged in, click on the "Restaurant" section that's on the left side (if you've already filled in the restaurant info, skip this step)
  3. Go to the "Menu" section
  4. Add as many categories as you need (e.g., "Burgers," "Drinks," "Appetizers"). The amount of categories you can add depends on your chosen pricing plan.
  5. For every category, click on the "+" to add an item.
  6. Fill in the information about each item - title, description, photos, price. You can also adjust the availability - if something isn't available on that particular day, you can mark the item as unavailable.
  7. Each item has the option to add extras. For example, for a cheese pizza with a $9.99 price,  click on "Extras," then "add extras" it will ask the name (let's say pepperoni) and price. If the extra pepperoni price is $1 when the customer adds the extra pepperoni, the system will add $1 to the cheese pizza; the total now is $10.99.

*Note: Use the Flipbook theme to just upload your current menu in .PNG or .JPG form.

Q?

Can customers use MyQr-Menu to place orders?

A.

Yes, they can also order from their table (tables must have numbers). Once a customer makes an order, you'll automatically see it on the "Orders" page in your account.

Owners can turn off this feature from the "Restaurant" tab.

Q?

Why is a digital menu better than a physical one?

A.

There are multiple reasons why consumers prefer to use a digital menu and why you, as a business owner, also should consider using one:

  1. Digital menus are more convenient
  2. Make changes to your menu instantly
  3. Hygiene reasons - digital menus increase safety standards lowering the risk of Covid-19 infections
  4. No queues - customers don't have to queue to view the menu
  5. Protect your staff from getting infected with Covid-19
  6. A simple and friendly way to create a modern menu, even if you're not tech-savvy
  7. Save on  re-printing menus

Q?

Do I need to download an App?

A.

You don’t need an app to use our service; MyQr-Menu is a Web Application; it works entirely from a browser. You will be able to make changes to your menu from anywhere as long as you have an internet connection.

Q?

My menu is blank (Flipbook menu theme)

A.

The Flipbook theme is an image only menu, each page is a picture, so if you have your menu digitalized, you can upload it page by page and you would have your original menu online.

If you created a menu and then changed to Flipbook theme, you need to go back to the menu page and add the images for your menu.

Note: If you change back to another menu theme your menu should still be there.
